WHAT IS AN EEG?

An EEG (Electroencephalograph) is a recording of the electrical activity of the brain waves.  It can determine changes in brain activity that might be useful in diagnosing brain disorders, especially epilepsy or other seizure disorders.
Patients are frequently referred with symptoms such as: headaches, seizures, blackouts, collapse, dizzy spells, absences.
